Thank you for the opportunity to let all boomers know that this is the best possible time to grow new brain connections and build memory power. Brain skills are still sound in your 50's and this is the time to build the memory buffer (cognitive reserve) you need to push back against memory loss in later years.

Lots of free articles and other resources can be found at:
<a href="http://brainandmemoryfoundation.org/" rel="nofollow">Gillian Eadie - Memory Help & Brain Training</a>
For a helpful, easy to read guide:

Thank you for this great opportunity.
My site, www.notjustthekitchen.com is geared to baby-boomer women but many of the articles apply to men and women of all ages. If your eyes are too tired or you want to multi-task, just click on the "Listen" icon and the article is read to you.

I'm now going to visit all the sites/blogs that have been submitted here.
Rita

btw: Please check your last link on the previous page.

Rosie, Thanks for introducing me to your audience.

www.PreRetirementLLife.com is a great site to refer to when anyone over the the magic age of 50 wants trustworthy information about ways to make the stage of life before retirement rewarding, healthy and happy. You can think of this as the place to plan the perfect "Pre-Retirement" strategy.
This site saves people TIME and MONEY. It is filled with useful expert articles, recommended web sites by topic to help customize a typical Google search, targeted discussion forums and even great deals and discounts for boomers who are not senior citizens (as though we will ever be called this). it is so different because it is not a social network but a resource guide just for us.

You can also find all the products and services that are finally serving our needs and they are presented in an Expo where we can browse whenever we want to. No banner ads.

Please let me know how valuable you think www.preretirementlife.com can be for you and your readers. You can comment at the top of the site or reach me at rcolner@preretirementinfo.com.

If you feel like me, I can't imagine I will ever make it out of the pre-retirement stage of life -

Enjoy your visit.

Rosie, thanks for the opportunity to post. My site, www.Topretirements.com, is designed to make it easier for baby boomers to figure out where they should live in retirement. We have Wiki-style reviews of about 225 of the best retirement towns, and another 125 capsule summaries of active adult or over 55 communities in those towns. There is a weekly newsletter that highlights outstanding or unusual communities and provides feature articles. Would love to do an interview with you sometime, I have lots of ideas about why baby boomers' retirements are going to be very different!
