Best Towns For Baby Boomers? Where are New Jersey Towns?

Posted by Rosie on February 19, 2009

This was just posted on Aol as the best towns for baby boomers but New Jersey towns are not there. Why?

Is your town there? Maybe we should move?

First of all, I love the new blog look! FABULOUS!

Second, I’m always amazed at the cities that are selected. State College, PA, for example, is a COLLEGE TOWN. Who would want to retire in a town full of college kids? Also, I’ve been to Charleston, W.VA. Not a place I’d like to live out my remaining years either.

Bev, I always wonder how they decide about these towns. Personally, I think where you are is super. I guess it really doesn’t matter as long as you are healthy and around folks you love. Oh and resources wouldn’t hurt

Fabulous blog. I could comment on each page. It is that interesting! We live in Pittsburgh, PA, a fabulous city witha small town feel. Great for Boomers but the young are drawing us into a wonderfully positive direction. Three-generation neighborhoods here with houses built over one hundrd years ago on hillsides. It’s beautiful….
