He is the second person in the Blog Challenge who is using the powerful “Welcome Tab”. This tab allows you to put in html code plus more. Kevin’s page tempts you with a engaging opt in opportunity. Of course I did not want to be left out. I want those tips that are offered exclusivly for those who “like” this powerful page.

His wall is the best I have ever seen. He has included an image with his contact information plus an offer for a free consultation. Now, just studying the things that he has done on this page is a course in itself.

So, enough said. My fellow babyboomers go and soak up the information on this Fan Page. You will not regret it!

As I continue my review of Facebook Fan Pages I have joined I thought it would be helpful to share this blog post. It is from a really cool blog called Indie Business.

Help! I Don’t Want to Share With ALL My Friends on Facebook

Someone recently said, ” I don’t like sharing something on my wall t hat goes to ALL my friends.” That person is not alone in their concern. I learned how easy it was to create targeted lists on Facebook. A focused list will separate your “I just completed my speech for the Rotary” from “Hey guys the family reunion is coming up so get your tickets.”

Just check out the mini tutorial below.

1. Go to the left side navigation panel while in the HOME TAB of Facebook and click on MORE

Create Custom Facebook List

2. Click on the Option to CREATE A NEW LIST

: Create New Facebook List

3. Create a name for your new list. Then go page by page to select Facebook Friends you want to include in that list. Click on CREATE LIST.

4. Once you have created the list you can assign your Facebook updates to the list of your choice.

Just finished reading this excellent post on Facebook Tips from a news feed on AOL. Most of the tips relate to social aspects of the site. Duh, it is a social networking platform. But I was most impressed with the fact that you can set up a webpage on Facebook!

They also share the applications that you should or should not download. I am still not excited about posting on folks walls but that’s probably why I never became an Artist. But my husband wrote on the walls a lot when he was young. And yes, he is an Artist.
